The Karuizawa New Art Museum is currently hosting the exhibition "Kengo Kuma: Landscape Architecture" by the globally renowned architect Kengo Kuma. This exhibition showcases his architectural works organized by theme, with a particular highlight being the exhibition and sale of "AKANE."
"AKANE" is distinguished by its simple and elegant design, crafted using natural materials. This chair is a realization of Kengo Kuma's pursuit of "harmony with the landscape" in the form of furniture. Its presence and design are sure to inspire and captivate many.
In Exhibition Room 5, visitors can explore "AKANE" along with other products designed by Kengo Kuma. This space is interactive, allowing guests to touch the furniture and even sit on selected chairs. It offers a rare opportunity to experience Kengo Kuma's design philosophy firsthand.
